Today marks International Women’s Day and I am creating this post in honor of the inspirational women in my life. The list is endless, including all the women in my family, as well as my friends! I will however limit this post to five lovely ladies.
The first to be mentioned is my lifelong best-friend Erin, who has always been there for me. We have been friends since we were four (wow over 15 years!) and through all my sad times she has been present, as have I to her. She is one of the kindest people I know, and she will truly be a friend for life.
Another notable person would definitely be my cousin Georgia. She is possibly the most hard-working person I have ever met and now we go to the same University! We will always be close, and it does not matter if we do not speak for lengths of time, we can pick up just from where we were and laugh for hours!
Abigail Williams is one of my good friends and I admire her for her determination to succeed and her confidence. Sometimes when I look at Abi I find it so impressive how confident and upfront she can be (although sometimes it can be a bit too upfront aha!). I will always admire her perseverance and the hard work she puts into her life!
The next person is my Nana, who always reads over my essays and helps ease my stress when completing assignments. She is one of the funniest people and I know I can always have a rant and a gossip to her and my Grandad when life is getting me down. Thank you, Nana I appreciate you endless amounts.
The final person I would say is one of the most important people in my life and that is my Mum! Thank you so much for everything you do for me. You are a perfect example of someone who is always looking to improve and for something to excel in (even if you should just give yourself a break). You give me the motivation to do well in uni. I also would like to thank you for helping me to remain positive even when I am being very miserable, you always find a way to cheer me up and I love you for it!
All of these women in my life are inspirational in their own way and I want to thank them for the presence they have and their ability to cheer me up. I love each and every one of you and that is why I dedicate this post to you.
